Trim & Work Order Coordinator | Apparel Manufacturing

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Trim & Work Order Coordinator to support apparel production operations. The role is responsible for ensuring that all trims and accessories such as buttons, labels, tags, and packaging materials are accurately matched according to approved tech packs and production requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Verify and match buttons, labels, tags, and other trims as per approved tech packs and buyer specifications.
• Maintain records of all trims, fabrics, and accessories issued for production.
• Coordinate with Merchandising, Production, Cutting, and Stores teams to ensure timely availability of trims and materials.
• Track and maintain work order records for all production units.
• Maintain a register/book for pending and unissued work orders and follow up with relevant departments for timely issuance.
• Monitor fabric allocation and consumption records for ongoing production orders.
• Ensure accuracy of trim approvals and prevent mismatches before production starts.
• Update and maintain production-related documentation and reports.
• Support inventory tracking and reconciliation of trims, accessories, and fabrics.
• Assist in resolving production issues related to trims, labels, and work order discrepancies.

Required Skills

• Knowledge of apparel manufacturing processes.
• Understanding of tech packs, trims, labels, and garment accessories.
• Strong record-keeping and documentation skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ERP systems.
• Good coordination and communication abilities.
• Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple production orders simultaneously.

Preferred Experience

• 1–3 years of experience in apparel manufacturing, merchandising support, production coordination, or trim management.
• Familiarity with garment production workflows and work order management.
