Graphic Designer

Roles & Responsibilities:

·       

Understand the brief from the

concerned Sales Person / requisitioning person.

·       Preparing the Designs basis, the brief, using proper Software viz. AI and Photoshop

·       Identification of Colour shades / Pantone colour to suit the packaging requirements.

·       All designs to be as per Key Lines related to the Machine or Pack format.

·       Check all the aspects of the design viz. colour, text, spellings, health warning and any other Specific Packaging design requirements.

·       Share with concerned Sales Person / requisitioning person for approval if all is as per their requirement.

·       Seek Final approval from HO, for suggestions, amendments, and prepare Final Design in PDF or JPEG format

·       Convert the PDF / JPEG files to as per printable format, which usually is AI format.

·       Share all the approved Designs in AI format with Procurement Manager.

·       Keep the records of Designs developed - Folders by SKU, by Sales person, for any further requirements / modifications.

·       Maintain a record / folder of Health Warning designs – by region, as used previously. Any new Health Warning shared by Sales Person, needs to be updated in these records.

·       Maintain Brand Catalogues provided by Sales Team for inspirational purposes on Packaging development in future.

·       Develop New Designs Options for ready reference, as per the Brand Catalogues or Physical Packs / Cartons shared by the Sales Team

·       Suggest designs / colour combinations on New Market Brand developments e.g. 3D pack format etc.

·       Learn use of New Software mediums for develop skills for designing purpose.

·       Get exposure to AV formats to be used in Exhibitions.

Safety and Compliance:

• Adhere to company and industry safety standards, using appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.
• Ensure that chemicals, inks, and other press supplies are used and stored according to safety protocols.
• Keep work area clean, organized, and free from hazards.
