Area Sales Manager

Position: Area Sales Manager – Home Loans

Location: Chennai

Experience: 5–10 Years (Minimum 3–5 years in Home Loan)

Key Responsibilities

• Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual home loan disbursement targets.
• Lead, mentor, and monitor a team of Relationship Managers, Sales Officers, and Channel Managers.
• Develop and manage relationships with builders, developers, DSAs (Direct Selling Agents), connectors, and real estate brokers.
• Identify new business opportunities and expand market penetration in the assigned geography.
• Drive customer acquisition through direct sales, referrals, and channel partnerships.
• Ensure high-quality sourcing and adherence to credit and compliance guidelines.
• Monitor loan applications from login to disbursement and coordinate with credit, operations, and legal teams.
• Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer requirements to formulate sales strategies.
• Conduct regular sales reviews, pipeline management, and performance tracking.
• Maintain portfolio health by minimizing delinquency and ensuring customer satisfaction.
• Prepare MIS reports and provide business updates to management.

Required Qualifications

• Graduate in any discipline; MBA preferred.
• 5–10 years of sales experience in Banking, NBFC, Housing Finance, or Mortgage industry.
• Proven experience in Home Loans, Mortgage Loans, or Loan Against Property (LAP).
• Strong network with builders, DSAs, and real estate channels.
• Excellent leadership, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
• Good understanding of home loan products, credit processes, and regulatory requirements.
