Import Export Accountant Assistant

## 🎯 Key Roles & Responsibilities## 1. Taxation & Compliance

* GST Management: Direct end-to-end filing of GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, and GSTR-9/9C. Manage monthly input tax credit (ITC) reconciliation with GSTR-2B.

* TDS / TCS Compliance: Accurate calculation, monthly deposit, and quarterly return filings (Form 24Q, 26Q, 27Q). Ensure correct TCS collection on sales.

* Statutory Compliance: Ensure 100% legal alignment with Indian accounting standards, companies act regulations, and audit requirements.

## 2. Import Accounting & Documentation

* Import Customs Clearance: Track and record High Seas Sales, Letter of Credit (LC), and Bank Guarantees.

* Costing: Handle Bill of Entry (BOE) accounting, customs duty allocations, and landed-cost calculations for imported chemical batches.

## 3. Banking & Treasury Operations

* Bank Reconciliation: Manage multi-currency bank accounts, trade credit lines, and cash flow statements.

* Foreign Remittance: Liaise with banks for regular trade payments, A2 documentation, and compliance with FEMA guidelines.

## 4. Billing & Ledger Management

* Invoicing: Oversee the execution of commercial sales billing, debit/credit notes, and e-way bill generation.

* Receivables & Payables: Monitor strict aging schedules and follow up on outstanding vendor/customer balances.

## 🔍 Candidate Requirements (Strict Criteria)

* Experience: Minimum 5 years of core accounting experience in a senior role.

* Industry: Prior experience working within a chemical trading, distribution, or manufacturing environment is highly preferred.

* Software: Advanced proficiency in Tally Prime/ERP 9 and MS Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).

* Skills: Complete practical knowledge of GST, TDS, Import accounting, and corporate banking workflows.
