Diagnostic Technician

We are seeking a highly skilled Diagnostic Technician to lead complex electrical troubleshooting, network fault-tracing, and ECU programming on premium and luxury vehicles. You will be responsible for diagnosing root-cause faults efficiently using advanced diagnostic tools, ensuring zero misdiagnoses or unnecessary part replacements.

Key Responsibilities

Advanced Diagnostics & Scans: Perform full-system vehicle health scans using factory/multi-brand scanners (BMW ISTA, Mercedes Xentry, VAG ODIS, Autel MaxiSYS, Launch Euro Tab).

Electrical Fault-Tracing: Trace short circuits, parasitic battery drains, sensor signal failures (5V reference, ground loops), and relay failures using multimeters and oscilloscopes.

Network & CAN-Bus Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve communication faults on CAN-Hi/CAN-Lo, LIN-Bus, and MOST networks.

ECU Coding & Programming: Perform variant coding, ECU flashing, module initialization, steering angle calibrations, and key/IMMO adaptations.

Diagnostic Report Generation: Provide clear, documented diagnostic fault trees and recommend exact parts needed to the Service Advisor before repairs begin.

Quality Assurance & Verification: Perform post-repair re-scans and road tests to confirm the fault code is cleared and the vehicle is fully operational.

Requirements & Qualifications

Experience: Minimum 4 years as a lead diagnostic technician or senior electrician working on German/Luxury cars (BMW, Audi, Mercedes, VW, Škoda, Volvo).

Tool Proficiency: Hands-on experience with OEM software (ISTA, Xentry, ODIS) or high-end universal platforms (Autel, Launch).

Electrical Mastery: Expert knowledge of reading OE wiring schematics, pinout diagrams, and using multimeters.

Education: Diploma in Automobile/Electrical Engineering or ITI Motor Mechanic/Electrician certification (Preferred).
