Electrical Technician

JD for Technician:

The Technician is responsible for installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, testing, and inspection of equipment, machines, and products. The role ensures smooth operations, minimizes downtime, and maintains quality and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Installation & MaintenanceInstall, assemble, and commission equipment and machinery.

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance activities.
• Ensure all machines and equipment are functioning efficiently.

2. Troubleshooting & RepairDiagnose technical issues and identify root causes.

• Repair faulty equipment, components, and systems.
• Attend machine breakdowns and resolve issues promptly.

3. Inspection & TestingConduct routine inspections of equipment and tools.

• Test products and equipment to ensure proper functionality.
• Record maintenance and testing results.

4. Safety & ComplianceFollow company safety procedures and work instructions.

• Use PPE and maintain a safe working environment.
• Ensure compliance with ISO standards and company policies.

5. DocumentationMaintain maintenance logs and service records.

• Report technical issues and corrective actions taken.
• Update checklists and maintenance schedules.

6. HousekeepingMaintain cleanliness of tools, equipment, and work area.

• Follow 5S practices in the workplace.

Skills Required :

• Knowledge of electrical, mechanical, and troubleshooting techniques.
• Ability to read technical drawings and manuals.
• Good problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Basic computer knowledge for record maintenance.
• Teamwork and communication skills.

Qualification:

ITI / Diploma in Electrical, Mechanical, Electronics, or relevant technical field.
