Job Description
- Clinical AssistanceAssist dentists during examinations and dental procedures.
- Prepare patients for treatment and ensure their comfort.
- Sterilize and arrange dental instruments and equipment before procedures.
- Take and record patient medical histories and treatment information.
- Assist in taking dental X-rays as required.
- Patient CareGuide patients regarding treatment procedures and post-treatment care.
- Schedule appointments and manage patient flow within the clinic.
- Address basic patient queries and concerns professionally.
- Clinic OperationsMaintain cleanliness and hygiene of treatment rooms and clinical areas.
- Ensure proper sterilization and storage of instruments according to infection control protocols.
- Monitor inventory of dental supplies and report shortages.
- Support the clinic team in maintaining compliance with health and safety standards.
- DocumentationMaintain accurate patient records and treatment documentation.
- Update patient information in the clinic management system.
- Assist with billing and administrative tasks when required.
- Required QualificationsHigh School Diploma or equivalent.
- Certification/Diploma in Dental Assisting (preferred).
- 1–3 years of experience in a dental clinic or healthcare setting.
- Knowledge of dental instruments, procedures, and infection control practices.
- Skills & CompetenciesStrong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Patient-focused approach with a caring attitude.
- Attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced clinical environment.
- Teamwork and collaboration.
- Basic computer proficiency.
