Accountant

Job Description – Accounts Assistant / AccountantThe Accounts Assistant shall be responsible for maintaining financial records, accounting entries, and supporting the day-to-day accounting operations of the organization.

• Key Responsibilities:Maintain and update accounting records in Tally accurately and timely.
• Record sales, purchases, receipts, payments, journal entries, and bank transactions.
• Prepare and maintain invoices, vouchers, ledgers, and other accounting documents.
• Perform bank reconciliations and assist in monthly account closing activities.
• Maintain MIS reports and accounting data using MS Excel.
• Prepare reports, statements, and financial summaries as required by management.
• Ensure proper filing and documentation of financial records.
• Coordinate with internal departments for accounting and payment-related matters.
• Support statutory compliance and audit-related documentation whenever required.
• Skills & Knowledge Required:Working knowledge of Tally ERP / Tally Prime.
• Basic understanding of accounting principles, bookkeeping, and financial transactions.
• Good knowledge of MS Excel, including formulas, data entry, reports, and spreadsheets.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in maintaining financial records.
• Good communication, coordination, and organizational skills.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality of financial and company information.
