Salary: ₹20,000 - ₹25,000 per month (Depending on experience)

Experience: 1–2 years preferred (Strong freshers with excellent SolidWorks skills can apply)

📌 Role Overview

We are a growing gym equipment manufacturing company looking for a practical, hands-on Mechanical Drafter & Production Assistant. In this role, you will bridge the gap between design and physical creation. You will spend part of your day drafting equipment parts using SolidWorks and the rest of your time on the shop floor, coordinating directly with our welders and fitters to ensure smooth, accurate production. (Note: A formal 4-year engineering degree is NOT required; practical skill is what matters most to us).

🔧 Key Responsibilities

• SolidWorks Drafting: Create clear, accurate 3D models and 2D fabrication drawings for gym equipment (frames, pulley systems, benches, weight stacks).
• Shop Floor Coordination: Take drawings to the production area and explain dimensions, cuts, and alignment details to welders and fitters.
• Daily Production Monitoring: Supervise day-to-day workshop operations, making sure the team follows design specifications.
• On-the-Spot Problem Solving: Work closely with fitters to solve practical assembly or measurement alignment issues that arise during fabrication.
• Quality Inspection: Check finished components and welded structures against the CAD drawings before they move to painting or final assembly.

🎯 What We Are Looking For

• SolidWorks Skills: Strong, hands-on proficiency in SolidWorks is mandatory. You must be able to create ready-to-weld production drawings.
• Fabrication Knowledge: Good understanding of steel tubes, sheet metal, welding processes, and basic hardware (bearings, bolts, pulleys).
• Communication: Clear, direct communication skills to coordinate effectively with manual workshop laborers.
• Work Environment: Comfortable working daily in a noisy, fast-paced fabrication workshop environment (this is not a standard 100% desk job).
