Job Description

Position: IELTS Tutor cum Administrator

Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and results-oriented IELTS Tutor cum Administrator to deliver high-quality IELTS training while supporting the day-to-day academic and administrative operations of the institution. The ideal candidate should possess excellent English communication skills, strong organisational abilities, and a passion for student success.

Key Responsibilities

Deliver IELTS coaching for Academic and General Training modules.

Teach Listening, Reading, Writing, and Speaking.

Conduct mock tests and provide constructive feedback.

Prepare lesson plans and training materials.

Monitor student attendance, progress, and academic performance.

Handle student enquiries, admissions, registrations, and documentation.

Maintain student records and coordinate class schedules.

Support student counselling, enrolment activities, and promotional events.

Perform administrative duties and assist in the smooth functioning of the institution.

Qualifications

Postgraduate degree in English, English Literature, Linguistics, Education, or a related field.

Minimum 2 years of experience in IELTS training or English language teaching.

IELTS Overall Band Score of 7.5 or above is preferred.

TESOL, TEFL, CELTA, DELTA, or IELTS Trainer Certification will be an added advantage.

Skills

Excellent spoken and written English.

Strong teaching, presentation, and communication skills.

Good organisational and administrative abilities.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office.

Student-focused with a proactive and professional attitude.
