Sales Representative

Key Responsibilities

● Attend walk-in customers and sales inquiries professionally.

● Understand customers’ requirements and recommend suitable sofas and other furniture products.

● Guide customers regarding sofa designs, fabrics, comfort, customization options, and pricing.

● Possess sound knowledge of:

● Sofa fabrics and upholstery materials

● Sofa construction and manufacturing process

● Different types of wood and their applications in furniture

● Prepare quotations and convert inquiries into sales.

● Coordinate with manufacturers after order confirmation to ensure products are manufactured as per customer specifications.

● Monitor order progress and ensure timely production and delivery.

● Conduct quality checks before dispatch to ensure the finished product meets company standards.

● Coordinate with customers regarding delivery schedules.

● Follow up after delivery to collect customer feedback and resolve any complaints or service issues promptly.

● Ensure all payments are collected and fully settled before delivery.

● Maintain customer records, order details, and follow-up communications.

Candidate Requirements

● Prior experience in furniture sales is mandatory.

● Good understanding of sofas, upholstery, furniture materials, and manufacturing processes.

● Strong communication, negotiation, and customer handling skills.

● Ability to coordinate effectively with customers, manufacturers, and internal teams.

● Detail-oriented with good problem-solving and follow-up skills.

● Basic computer skills for maintaining customer and order records.
