Mtandt Rentals Limited is a B2B leader in the rental and sale of Mobile Elevating Work Platforms (MEWPs), temporary access mats, and mobile light towers. We serve construction, infrastructure, industrial, maintenance, and events sectors across India, helping customers work safely at height and in demanding site conditions.
The Role
We are looking for a Senior Marketing Manager to own and lead our integrated marketing function across three pillars — trade media and publications, SEO and web, and social media and content — while also driving annual marketing budget planning.
This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who can both set strategy and execute. You will be the connective tissue between our business and leadership teams, external editorial partners, our web development vendors, and our in-house design team. You will operate as a near-independent marketing lead and be measured on visibility, qualified inbound interest, and brand authority in the access-equipment space.
Key Responsibilities
1. Trade Media & Publications Engagement (PR + Advertising)
- Build and manage relationships with editorial teams of relevant trade publications (construction, infrastructure, industrial, EHS/safety, events).
- Secure earned coverage — by-lined articles, expert commentary, product features, and case studies.
- Plan and place print and digital advertising; negotiate media rates and packages.
- Leverage publications' digital assets (newsletters, websites, webinars) to reach the right target audience.
- Maintain an editorial calendar aligned to industry events, product launches, and business priorities.
2. SEO & Web Development
- Own the SEO roadmap: keyword research, on-page and content optimization, and technical SEO (site speed, indexing, schema, mobile, Core Web Vitals).
- Lead website optimization — information architecture, wireframes, UX, and conversion paths.
- Advise on the right technology stack and platform decisions for the website.
- Manage and review external web development vendors on an ongoing basis; set scope, timelines, and quality standards.
- Track and report organic traffic, rankings, and website-generated leads.
3. Social Media & Content
- Own organic presence on LinkedIn and YouTube — strategy, content calendar, and posting cadence.
- Lead the team to create relevant copy and give feedback on the same; brief and coordinate with the in-house graphic design team on creative assets.
- Partner with business and leadership teams to develop and edit thought leadership content.
- Grow engagement, followers, and share-of-voice in the access/equipment category.
4. Marketing Budget & Planning
- Lead annual marketing budget planning and allocation across channels.
- Track spend against budget and measure ROI and channel effectiveness.
- Recommend investment shifts based on performance data.
Required Skills & Experience
- 6–9 years in B2B / industrial marketing, with demonstrable ownership of PR, SEO/web, and social media.
- Strong media-relations skills and an existing (or quickly build-able) network with trade publications.
- Hands-on SEO expertise — fluency with tools such as SEMrush / Ahrefs / Google Search Console / GA4, and the confidence to brief and review web developers on technical matters.
- Excellent business writing and content judgment — able to turn technical product and industry topics into compelling narratives.
- Proven experience managing external vendors and agencies.
- Comfort with marketing budgeting and ROI measurement.
- A self-starter who can operate as a near-independent marketing lead.
Good to Have
- Experience in construction equipment, capital goods, infrastructure/EPC, industrial machinery, material handling, building materials, or safety/EHS — any technical B2B sector with long sales cycles.
- Understanding of dealer/rental business models and technical buyer personas.
- MBA in Marketing or equivalent
