Job Summary
The Sales Executive is responsible for assisting customers, understanding their furniture requirements, providing suitable product recommendations, achieving sales targets, and ensuring an excellent customer experience within the showroom.
Key Responsibilities
- Sales & Customer Service
- Welcome and assist customers visiting the showroom.
- Understand customer requirements and recommend suitable furniture products.
- Demonstrate product features, specifications, and benefits.
- Convert walk-in customers into successful sales.
- Follow up on customer inquiries, quotations, and pending orders.
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships to encourage repeat business.
Showroom Operations
- Ensure showroom displays are clean, attractive, and properly arranged.
- Maintain product knowledge of all furniture categories and ongoing promotions.
- Ensure pricing tags and promotional materials are updated.
- Coordinate with the delivery team for timely dispatch and installation.
- Resolve customer concerns and complaints professionally.
- Maintain customer records and sales reports.
Target Achievement
- Achieve monthly sales and revenue targets.
- Promote additional products and accessories through upselling and cross-selling.
- Participate in showroom sales campaigns and promotional activities.
Required Qualifications
- Any Graduate / Diploma.
- 1–3 years of experience in retail sales (Furniture, Home Décor, Interior Products, Electronics, or similar industries preferred).
- Freshers with excellent communication skills may also apply.
Skills Required
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Good negotiation and sales closing skills.
- Customer-focused attitude.
- Basic computer knowledge (MS Office, Billing Software, CRM).
- Ability to work in a target-oriented environment.
- Positive attitude and professional appearance.
Working Conditions
- 6 days working with rotational week-off.
- Weekend and festival attendance is mandatory based on business requirements.
- Flexible to work in shifts as assigned by the management.
- Conversion ratio of walk-in customers.
- Customer satisfaction and feedback.
- Average bill value and upselling performance.
- Attendance and adherence to showroom policies.
