Architect

Job Summary

The Architect is responsible for planning, designing, coordinating, and supervising architectural and interior projects from concept to completion. The role includes preparing drawings, coordinating with clients, consultants, vendors, and site teams, ensuring design quality, project timelines, and compliance with applicable standards.

Key Responsibilities

Design & Planning

Develop architectural concepts and design presentations.

Prepare 2D drawings, working drawings, and construction drawings.

Develop 3D models and renderings for client presentations.

Prepare detailed interior layouts, furniture layouts, ceiling plans, flooring layouts, and elevation drawings.

Ensure designs comply with local building codes and regulations.

Client Coordination

Understand client requirements and prepare design proposals.

Conduct client meetings and present design concepts.

Incorporate client feedback into the final design.

Provide regular project updates to clients.

Site Coordination

Visit project sites regularly to monitor execution.

Coordinate with site engineers, supervisors, contractors, and vendors.

Resolve design-related issues during execution.

Ensure work is completed according to approved drawings.

Documentation

Prepare BOQs (Bill of Quantities).

Prepare material specifications and finishing schedules.

Coordinate approval drawings and shop drawings.

Maintain project documentation and revisions.

Vendor & Material Coordination

Coordinate with suppliers and manufacturers.

Select suitable materials, finishes, hardware, lighting, and furniture.

Ensure quality standards are maintained.

Quality Control

Inspect site work for quality and accuracy.

Ensure design intent is maintained during execution.

Report deviations and recommend corrective actions.

Project Management

Prepare project schedules.

Track project progress and milestones.

Coordinate with all stakeholders for timely completion.

Ensure projects are completed within budget and timeline.
