About the Role

We are looking for a responsible and proactive Fabrication & Dispatch Coordinator to take ownership of day-to-day fabrication progress, outside processing/galvanising follow-up, finished material readiness and dispatch coordination.

This is a factory-floor coordination role. The candidate must be comfortable working with supervisors, labour, stores, transporters and outside processors.

The person must maintain complete accountability for assigned work and provide regular updates without requiring repeated follow-up from management.

Key Responsibilities

• Track daily fabrication work against production requirements and dispatch priorities.

• Maintain item-wise and quantity-wise status of work in progress.

• Coordinate fabrication activities including cutting, punching, drilling, welding and assembly.

• Follow up with supervisors and workers to ensure work is completed within committed timelines.

• Identify delays and bottlenecks and immediately escalate them to management.

• Maintain records of material sent for galvanising or other outside processing.

• Follow up with galvanising vendors for timely completion and return of material.

• Verify quantity and condition of material received back from outside processing.

• Coordinate counting, sorting, bundling, packing and dispatch readiness.

• Ensure the correct item and quantity are loaded against each dispatch.

• Coordinate with stores, production, transporters and management for smooth dispatch.

• Maintain a live pending-work tracker.

• Submit a daily end-of-day report covering completed work, pending work, reasons for delay and the next action required.

Candidate Requirements

• 3–7 years of experience in fabrication, manufacturing, production coordination, dispatch or factory operations.

• Experience in steel fabrication, engineering goods or electrical hardware will be preferred.

• Strong follow-up and coordination skills.

• Ability to maintain basic records in Excel or Google Sheets.

• Comfortable using WhatsApp for photographs, status updates and reporting.

• Must be active on the factory floor and willing to personally verify work.

• Must be able to coordinate with workers, supervisors, stores, transporters and outside vendors.

The Most Important Requirement:We are looking for someone who takes ownership.

If a task is assigned, the candidate must:

1. Understand what has to be done.
2. Track it until completion.
3. Report delays before they become problems.
4. Provide status updates without being repeatedly asked.
5. Close the task with proper quantity and completion confirmation.
