Job Title: Interior Designer Assistant (Helping Hand to Senior Designer)

Plansys India is a fast-growing interior design and project execution firm based in Indore.

We specialize in residential interiors, kitchens, and wardrobes, delivering elegant and functional spaces for our clients.

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented individual to support our Senior Interior Designer in day-to-day tasks.

Role Overview

The Interior Designer Assistant will work closely with the Senior Designer to ensure smooth workflow, timely project execution, and high-quality deliverables. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to coordinate between design and execution teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist the Senior Designer in preparing design concepts, presentations, and mood boards.
• Support in 2D drawings, 3D renders, and material selection.
• Coordinate with vendors, contractors, and site teams for smooth execution.
• Take site measurements, maintain project documentation, and update progress reports.
• Follow up with suppliers for samples, quotations, and timely deliveries.
• Ensure all design details are implemented accurately on site.
• Handle administrative design tasks such as scheduling client meetings, preparing BOQs, and filing drawings.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s/Diploma in Interior Design or related field.
• 0–2 years of experience (freshers with good software skills are welcome).
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, or similar design tools.
• Strong communication and coordination skills.
• Ability to multitask and work under deadlines.
• Willingness to learn and grow under the mentorship of a Senior Designer.
