HVAC Technician – Job DescriptionJob Title: HVAC Technician

Job SummaryWe are looking for a skilled HVAC Technician with hands-on experience in the installation, testing, commissioning, maintenance, and troubleshooting of HVAC systems. The candidate should have knowledge of both Single Phase and Three Phase electrical systems and be capable of handling VRV/VRF, Chiller, Ductable, Cassette, Split, Package, FCU, AHU, and Ventilation Systems.

• Key ResponsibilitiesInstall, repair, and maintain HVAC systems.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical and mechanical faults.
• Perform installation and commissioning of:
• 
  
• VRV/VRF Systems
• Chiller Units (Air-Cooled & Water-Cooled)
• Ductable Air Conditioners
• Cassette Air Conditioners
• Split Air Conditioners
• Package Units
• AHU (Air Handling Units)
• FCU (Fan Coil Units)
• Ventilation and Exhaust Systems
• Read and understand HVAC drawings, wiring diagrams, and schematics.
• Perform refrigerant charging, vacuuming, leak testing, and pressure testing.
• Install copper piping, insulation, drainage piping, and electrical wiring.
• Handle both Single Phase (230V) and Three Phase (415V) electrical connections.
• Carry out preventive and breakdown maintenance.
• Ensure safe working practices and follow company SOPs.
• Coordinate with project engineers and supervisors for timely completion of work.
• Required SkillsKnowledge of Single Phase & Three Phase electrical systems.
• Experience with VRV/VRF systems.
• Knowledge of Chiller Plants and Chilled Water Systems.
• Experience in Ductable, Cassette, Split, and Package AC installation.
• Understanding of AHU, FCU, and ventilation systems.
• Copper piping, brazing, insulation, and refrigerant handling.
• Ability to use electrical testing tools and HVAC service equipment.
• Basic knowledge of HVAC controls and commissioning.
• Ability to work independently and at project sites.
• QualificationsITI/Diploma in Refrigeration & Air Conditioning, Electrician, or Mechanical Engineering.
• Relevant HVAC certifications will be an added advantage.
• ExperienceMinimum 2 years of experience in HVAC installation and maintenance.
• Experience in commercial, residential, or industrial HVAC projects is preferred.
