# Job Description – UKG (EuroSenior) Class Teacher

*Position:* UKG (Upper Kindergarten / EuroSenior) Class Teacher

*Location:* EuroKids Preschool, Kovaipudur, Coimbatore

## About the Role

We are looking for a *passionate, enthusiastic, and highly proficient English-speaking UKG Class Teacher* to nurture young learners in a safe, engaging, and stimulating environment. The ideal candidate should possess excellent communication skills, creativity, patience, and a strong understanding of early childhood education.

## Key Responsibilities

* Plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate lessons aligned with the preschool curriculum.

* Develop children's literacy, numeracy, communication, cognitive, social, and emotional skills.

* Conduct interactive activities including phonics, storytelling, creative writing, mathematics, science exploration, art & craft, music, and movement.

* Foster spoken English through daily conversations, circle time, role play, and classroom interactions.

* Create a joyful, positive, and inclusive classroom environment.

* Monitor each child's developmental milestones and maintain observation records.

* Prepare teaching aids, worksheets, learning materials, and classroom displays.

* Assess children's progress and provide constructive feedback to parents.

* Conduct parent-teacher meetings and communicate regularly with parents regarding children's development.

* Ensure children's safety, hygiene, and well-being at all times.

* Participate actively in school events, celebrations, field trips, and teacher training programs.

## Required Qualifications

* Bachelor's Degree in any discipline (B.Ed./Montessori/Early Childhood Education certification preferred).

* Minimum *2 years of teaching experience* in Preschool, Kindergarten, or Primary classes (UKG experience preferred).

* Freshers with excellent communication skills and relevant qualifications may also apply.

* *Excellent spoken and written English (Mandatory).*

* Clear pronunciation with a neutral accent.

* Strong classroom management skills.

* Ability to engage young children through interactive teaching.

* Excellent storytelling and public speaking skills.

* Creativity in planning classroom activities.

* Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

* Basic computer proficiency (MS Office, email, educational apps).
