MIS Executive

About the Role

We are a growing garments manufacturing company in Ahmedabad looking for an analytical, detail-oriented MIS Executive. You will manage production data, prepare reports, and help the management team take faster and better decisions through clean, accurate information.

We specifically welcome candidates with a Information Systems, Mathematics, Statistics, or Science background — analytical thinking matters more to us than years of experience.

Key Responsibilities

•       Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly MIS reports — production, inventory, jobworker output, and dispatch

•       Build and maintain Excel dashboards with Pivot Tables, charts, and conditional summaries

•       Write advanced Excel formulas (nested IF, SUMIFS, IFERROR, INDEX-MATCH) to automate repetitive calculations

•       Consolidate data from multiple sources / sheets into clean master reports

•       Identify data discrepancies and flag them immediately to management

•       Maintain and improve existing Google Sheets trackers used by the operations team

•       Assist in setting up new data tracking formats as operations grow

Required Skills

Must Have

•       Advanced Microsoft Excel — nested formulas, SUMIFS, COUNTIFS, IFERROR, INDEX-MATCH

•       Pivot Tables and Pivot Charts — building, formatting, slicing, and refreshing

•       Logical thinking — ability to structure raw data into meaningful summaries

•       Strong numerical accuracy — spotting errors and cross-checking totals

Good to Have

•       Google Sheets — functions, sharing, and basic automation

•       Knowledge of dynamic array functions: FILTER, UNIQUE, SORT (modern Excel)

•       Exposure to garments, textile, or manufacturing environment

•       Basic understanding of Tally or any ERP for data export

Educational Background

We strongly prefer candidates from a quantitative background:

•       B.Sc. Mathematics / Statistics — strongly preferred

•       B.Com with Statistics / Quantitative Methods

•       BBA / MBA with Analytics or Operations focus

•       Any background with demonstrably strong Excel and numerical skills

Freshers with the right aptitude are welcome. We will train you on our specific reporting needs.
