A Banquet Sales Executive is a hospitality professional who drives event revenue by securing bookings, consulting with clients on event details, negotiating contracts, and collaborating with operations teams to ensure flawless execution. They act as the primary liaison between the client and the venue.

Key Responsibilities

• Sales & Lead Generation: Source new corporate and social clients, respond to inquiries, and conduct proactive sales calls to achieve revenue targets.
• Client Consultation & Tours: Conduct site tours, understand client needs, and provide tailored proposals regarding menus, setups, and audio-visual requirements.
• Contract Negotiation: Negotiate pricing, draft agreements, and secure signed contracts and initial deposits.
• Event Coordination: Create detailed Banquet Event Orders (BEOs) and function sheets, communicating event specifications clearly to the culinary and banquet operations teams.
• Relationship Management: Maintain ongoing client communication before, during, and after the event to foster loyalty, address last-minute requests, and encourage repeat bookings.

Essential Qualifications

• Experience: Typically 2–8 years in hospitality sales, event coordination, or catering.
• Education: Degree or Diploma in Hospitality Management, Business, or Marketing.
• Hard Skills: Proficiency in MS Office and specialized Property Management or Catering software (e.g., Opera, Delphi).
• Soft Skills: Exceptional negotiation, interpersonal, and communication skills, with a high tolerance for multitasking and problem-solving under pressure
