Job Description:

The Regional Sales Manager will be responsible for driving sales growth, expanding market presence, and managing the dealer/distributor network within the assigned territory. The role involves achieving sales targets, developing business strategies, appointing new channel partners, maintaining strong customer relationships, and leading the regional sales team. The candidate will work closely with marketing, logistics, and operations teams to ensure smooth execution of sales plans while monitoring market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback. Regular travel within the assigned region is required to strengthen market penetration and maximize business opportunities.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
  • Develop and expand dealer and distributor networks.
  • Identify new business opportunities and increase market share.
  • Manage and mentor Territory Sales Officers/Sales Executives.
  • Ensure timely collections and maintain healthy receivables.
  • Monitor competitor activities and market trends.
  • Conduct regular dealer visits and customer meetings.
  • Coordinate with marketing and supply chain teams for efficient operations.
  • Prepare sales reports, forecasts, and MIS for management.


Specific Requirements:

  • Do have experience in cement, building materials, or FMCG sales.
  • Proven experience in channel sales and distributor management.
  • Strong leadership, negotiation, and communication skills.
  • Good knowledge of the assigned regional market.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and CRM tools.
  • Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned territory.
  • Valid driving license preferred.
