Waiter / Steward

Core Responsibilities:

• Greeting & Guiding: Welcoming guests, escorting them to tables, and providing menus.
• Menu Knowledge: Answering questions regarding ingredients, portion sizes, dietary restrictions, and making recommendations.
• Order Taking: Accurately recording food and beverage orders and communicating them to the kitchen and bar staff.
• Food & Drink Service: Delivering orders promptly, checking the presentation, and refilling beverages.
• Guest Satisfaction: Checking in on diners to ensure they are satisfied, resolving complaints, and anticipating guest needs.
• Billing: Delivering checks, processing cash or card payments, and returning change.
• Sanitation & Setup: Setting up tables, clearing dishes, cleaning dining areas, and adhering to health and safety regulations.

Key Requirements & Skills:

• Customer Service: A friendly, patient, and energetic personality with excellent interpersonal skills.
• Multitasking: Ability to handle multiple tables simultaneously and manage fast-paced environments.
• Physical Stamina: Capability to stand and walk for long hours and comfortably lift objects (typically up to 25 pounds).
• Communication: Strong verbal communication to coordinate effectively with kitchen staff, management, and guests.
