Heavy Driver

Job Description:

We are looking for a responsible and experienced DCM Van Driver to operate a delivery/commercial van for outstation assignments lasting up to 26 days.

Key Responsibilities:

• Safely drive and operate the DCM van on assigned outstation routes.
• Transport goods/materials to designated locations on schedule.
• Conduct daily vehicle inspections and report any mechanical issues.
• Maintain cleanliness and basic upkeep of the vehicle.
• Ensure compliance with traffic laws and company safety policies.
• Maintain trip logs, fuel records, toll receipts, and delivery documents.
• Coordinate with supervisors regarding trip status and delivery updates.
• Handle loading and unloading of goods when required.
• Stay at outstation locations for up to 26 consecutive days as per operational requirements.

Requirements:

• Valid DCM/Commercial Driving License.
• Minimum 2–3 years of experience driving commercial vehicles.
• Good knowledge of highways, routes, and road safety regulations.
• Physically fit and willing to travel extensively.
• Ability to work independently and responsibly.
• Basic reading and writing skills to maintain trip records.

Work Schedule:

• Outstation duty for up to 26 consecutive days, followed by leave/rest as per company policy.

Preferred Skills:

• Defensive driving skills.
• Basic vehicle troubleshooting knowledge.
