About the RoleWe are looking for a detail-oriented and technology-savvy Accountant to join our growing team. The candidate will be responsible for handling accounting and bookkeeping work for US-based companies, preparing financial reports, maintaining accurate records, and supporting various finance and compliance activities.

The ideal candidate should have strong accounting fundamentals, excellent Excel skills, hands-on experience with QuickBooks, and the ability to leverage AI tools such as ChatGPT and Claude to improve productivity and problem-solving.

• Key ResponsibilitiesUS Accounting & BookkeepingPerform day-to-day bookkeeping for US-based clients.
• Record and reconcile bank, credit card, and loan transactions.
• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable.
• Prepare monthly financial statements and management reports.
• Review and categorize transactions accurately.
• Assist with month-end and year-end closing activities.
• Maintain accounting records in QuickBooks Online.
• Reporting & AnalysisPrepare financial reports and schedules.
• Analyze financial data using Excel.
• Assist in preparing KPI reports and management dashboards.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow analysis.
• Indian Accounting & Compliance SupportAssist in GST compliance and return preparation.
• Support Income Tax, TDS, and audit-related assignments.
• Assist in CMA Data preparation for bank loans and financial institutions.
• Coordinate with senior team members on compliance and reporting requirements.
• Technology & AI UtilizationUse ChatGPT, Claude, and other AI tools to improve efficiency and research accounting matters.
• Document processes and prepare client communication drafts.
• Continuously identify opportunities for automation and workflow improvement.
• Required Skills & QualificationsB.Com / M.Com / CA Inter / CMA Inter / MBA Finance or equivalent.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and bookkeeping.
• Hands-on experience with QuickBooks Online.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, formulas, data analysis).
• Good written and verbal English communication skills.
• Ability to learn and use AI tools effectively.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• High attention to detail and accuracy.
• Preferred QualificationsExperience handling US accounting and bookkeeping clients.
• Knowledge of GST, Income Tax, TDS, and audit procedures.
• Experience preparing CMA Data for bank loan proposals.
• Exposure to real estate accounting, payroll, or outsourced accounting services.
• Familiarity with cloud-based accounting applications and automation tools.
