Job Description

We are looking for a meticulous and proactive Accountant to join our CA firm. This isn't just about data entry; you will be the backbone of our compliance and reporting desk. You’ll handle the end-to-end accounting lifecycle for a diverse portfolio of clients, ensuring they stay compliant with GST and TDS regulations while maintaining "audit-ready" books.

  • Key Responsibilities Taxation & Compliance:
  • Prepare and file monthly and quarterly GST returns (GSTR-1, 3B) and perform periodic reconciliations (GSTR-2A/2B vs. Books).
  • Compute TDS/TCS liabilities, ensure timely payments, and file quarterly returns (Forms 24Q, 26Q, 27Q).
  • Stay updated on the latest notifications and amendments in Indirect and Direct Tax.
  • Accounting & Finalization:
  • Maintain accurate books of accounts for various clients using Tally Prime and Zoho Books.
  • Perform Accounting Finalization, including preparing Trial Balances, Profit & Loss accounts, and Balance Sheets.
  • Execute monthly bank reconciliations and inter-branch/party reconciliations.
  • Prepare supporting schedules for Statutory and Tax Audits.
  • Client Management:
  • Coordinate with clients to gather necessary documentation and resolve accounting discrepancies.
  • Assist in responding to tax notices or inquiries from authorities.
  • Required Skills & QualificationsSoftware Expertise: Pro-level command over Tally (ERP 9/Prime) and Zoho Books is mandatory.
  • Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of Ind AS/Accounting Standards and Indian Tax Laws.
  • Analytical Mindset: An eye for detail—you should be the person who finds the ₹1 discrepancy in a 50-page ledger.
  • Communication: Ability to explain complex tax requirements to clients clearly.
  • Education: B.Com/M.Com/Inter-CA or equivalent.
