Job Description

Core Duties and Responsibilities

  • Routine Inspections: Check physical condition, pressure gauges, and seals for damage, leaks, or wear.
  • Testing and Certification: Conduct operational and hydrostatic pressure tests on cylinders.
  • Recharging and Refilling: Empty, refill, and recharge units after use or expiration dates.
  • Installation and Placement: Mount new extinguishers securely in accessible, code-compliant areas.
  • Repairs: Replace broken valves, hoses, and faulty mechanical parts.
  • Record Keeping: Log all service history, tagging dates and test results on each device.
