Job Summary

We are looking for a hardworking and physically fit Helper to assist in the manufacturing, fabrication, finishing, packing, and loading of spiral staircases and related metal components. The candidate will support welders, fabricators, machine operators, and installation teams in daily factory operations.

Key Responsibilities

Production Support

• Assist fabricators and welders during staircase manufacturing.
• Handle raw materials, steel sections, pipes, plates, and staircase components.
• Support cutting, grinding, drilling, and polishing activities.
• Help in assembly and fitting of staircase parts.

Material Handling

• Load and unload materials and finished products.
• Move materials within the factory using trolleys and lifting equipment.
• Arrange materials properly in designated storage areas.

Housekeeping & Safety

• Keep the work area clean and organized.
• Follow factory safety procedures and use PPE (Safety Shoes, Gloves, Helmet, Goggles).
• Assist in maintaining tools and equipment.

Packing & Dispatch

• Help in packing finished staircases and accessories.
• Assist in preparing materials for dispatch and transportation.

Installation Support

• Support installation teams during site work when required.
• Carry tools and materials to installation locations.

Required Skills

• Basic understanding of factory operations.
• Ability to use hand tools safely.
• Physical stamina for lifting and moving materials.
• Teamwork and willingness to learn.
• Basic communication skills.

Educational Qualification

• 10th Pass / ITI / Intermediate preferred.
• Ability to read basic measurements is an added advantage.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in fabrication, steel, metal works, engineering workshop, or staircase manufacturing.
• Familiarity with grinding and material handling activities.

Working Conditions

• Factory and workshop environment.
• Standing for extended periods.
• Handling metal components and tools.
• Overtime may be required based on production schedules.
