Job Description
Eligibility
- ITI / Diploma in Welding, Fitter or related trade
- 2–5 years of experience in welding, fitting, metal fabrication, engineering services, manufacturing, machine tools or industrial equipment/machinery
- Freshers with strong skills may also apply
Required Skills
- TIG Welding
- GMAW (MIG/MAG) Welding
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and welding symbols
- Knowledge of welding defects, quality standards, and preventive measures
- Familiarity with welding safety standards and proper use of PPE
Key Responsibilities
- Perform welding operations as per approved Welding Procedure Specifications (WPS) and engineering drawings.
- Ensure all welds meet visual and dimensional quality standards.
- Prepare, clean, and inspect workpieces before and after welding.
- Maintain welding records in accordance with production and quality requirements.
- Follow supervisor instructions and achieve daily production targets.
- Adhere to safety procedures and maintain a clean work environment.
