Accounts Assistant Manager(UK)

• Key ResponsibilitiesManage day-to-day accounting and bookkeeping activities.
• Prepare and review financial statements, management accounts, and reports.
• Handle accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.
• Perform bank reconciliations and maintain general ledger entries.
• Assist in VAT returns, tax filings, and compliance with UK financial regulations.
• Support month-end and year-end closing activities.
• Monitor cash flow and financial transactions.
• Coordinate with auditors, clients, and internal departments.
• Ensure accuracy and timely completion of accounting records.
• Train and guide junior accounting staff when required.
• Required Skills & QualificationsBachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or related field.
• 3–6 years of experience in accounting, preferably handling UK accounts.
• Knowledge of UK accounting standards, VAT, and taxation.
• Proficiency in accounting software such as Xero, QuickBooks, Sage, or similar.
• Strong understanding of MS Excel and financial reporting.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
• Preferred QualificationsACCA (Part Qualified/Qualified) or equivalent certification.
• Experience working with UK clients or in an outsourcing/KPO environment.
