About Us

Macvision is looking for a skilled, customer-oriented CCTV Installation Technician to join our growing security integration team. You will work directly with commercial and residential clients across the region to design, install, and service state-of-the-art video surveillance systems that protect their properties

Key Responsibilities

• Site Surveys & Planning: Evaluate client premises and blueprints to determine optimal camera placement, cable routing, and material requirements.
• System Installation: Run cables (coaxial, Cat-5/Cat-6, fiber), mount cameras, and connect power supplies in both commercial and industrial environments
• Hardware Setup: Terminate wires, mount control panels, and configure Digital Video Recorders (DVRs) or Network Video Recorders (NVRs).
• Networking & Integration: Connect IP-based cameras to local networks, configure IP addresses, and set up remote/mobile viewing capabilities for clients
• Troubleshooting & Maintenance: Diagnose system faults, short circuits, or connectivity issues, and perform routine preventative maintenance on existing setups.
• Client Handover: Test system functionality, verify video feed quality, and demonstrate to customers how to use their systems, retrieve footage, and operate monitoring software.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Education: ITI, Diploma, or Certification in Electrical, Electronics, or Computer Networking.
• Experience: [1 to 3+] years of proven hands-on field experience in installing, configuring, and troubleshooting CCTV and security systems.
• Technical Skills: Strong understanding of TCP/IP networking, IP cameras, cable crimping, and video management software. Familiarity with popular brands (e.g., Hikvision, CP Plus, Dahua) is highly preferred.
• Physical Requirements: Ability to work at heights, lift heavy equipment, and work in varying environmental conditions.
• Transportation: Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel to different job sites across the region.
• Soft Skills: Exceptional problem-solving abilities and strong customer service skills
