Job Description
Procure food raw materials, ingredients, packaging materials, and other production-related items.
Identify, evaluate, and develop new vendors while maintaining relationships with existing suppliers.
Negotiate prices, payment terms, delivery schedules, and contracts with suppliers.
Prepare Purchase Orders (POs) and ensure timely processing and follow-up.
Coordinate with Production, Quality, Stores, and Accounts departments for smooth procurement operations.
Monitor inventory levels and plan purchases to avoid shortages or excess stock.
Compare quotations and prepare cost analysis reports.
Ensure purchased materials comply with quality standards and company specifications.
Maintain procurement records, vendor database, and documentation.
Track supplier performance regarding quality, delivery, and pricing.
Handle emergency purchases and resolve procurement-related issues promptly.
Ensure compliance with company policies and procurement procedures.
