Production Manager

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the Injection Moulding production department.
• Plan and achieve daily, weekly, and monthly production targets.
• Manage production of water bottles, PET preforms, caps & closures, PET jars, and other plastic products.
• Optimize machine utilization, cycle time, productivity, and OEE.
• Reduce rejection, wastage, downtime, and production costs.
• Ensure product quality and compliance with customer specifications.
• Supervise mould changeovers, process improvements, and production planning.
• Coordinate with Quality, Maintenance, Tool Room, PPC, Purchase, and Dispatch teams.
• Lead production supervisors, shift in-charges, operators, and helpers.
• Implement Lean Manufacturing, 5S, Kaizen, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Prepare production reports and monitor KPIs.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and company SOPs.

Mandatory Experience

Candidates must have experience in a similar manufacturing industry, preferably producing one or more of the following:

• Plastic Water Bottles
• PET Preforms
• PET Jars
• Caps & Closures
• Plastic Houseware Products
• Packaging Products

Candidates from automotive, medical, electrical, or unrelated injection moulding industries will not be preferred unless they have relevant experience in consumer plastic products.
