Product Development Engineer (Suspension Systems)

Position Overview: We are looking for a passionate Mechanical Engineer to support the development of new suspension products and components.

The role involves product development, vendor development, engineering coordination, testing support and basic design activities. This is an excellent opportunity for engineers interested in automotive products, vehicle dynamics and product innovation.

Key ResponsibilitiesProduct Development• Support development of new suspension products and components

• Assist in design validation, testing and product improvement activities

• Prepare and maintain engineering drawings, BOMs and technical documentation

• Coordinate prototype development and component trials

• Participate in product benchmarking and competitive analysis

Vendor Development• Identify and develop new vendors for components and manufacturing processes

• Coordinate with suppliers regarding technical requirements and quality expectations

• Follow up on component development, samples and production readiness

• Support cost optimization and sourcing activities

Engineering & Design Support• Support basic CAD and engineering design activities

• Assist in maintaining engineering records and design revisions

• Coordinate with production and quality teams during product development

• Support root cause analysis and corrective actions for engineering issues

Desired Skills• Strong interest in automotive products and engineering

• Good understanding of mechanical engineering fundamentals

• Ability to read engineering drawings and technical documents

• Problem-solving mindset and willingness to learn

• Good communication and coordination skills

• Hands-on approach towards engineering challenges

Preferred Qualifications• B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering

• Freshers with strong interest in automotive engineering may apply

• 0–3 years of experience in product development, automotive, manufacturing or engineering roles preferred

• Knowledge of CAD software such as SolidWorks, Creo, CATIA or AutoCAD will be an advantage

• Passion for motorcycles and riding will be an added advantage
