Job Description
Music Teacher – Mela Music SchoolResponsibilities
- Teach one-on-one and group music classes.
- Teach practical music, music theory, and staff notation.
- Help students develop technique, rhythm, and sight-reading skills.
- Assign practice exercises and monitor student progress.
- Prepare students for recitals, performances, and music exams.
- Maintain attendance and provide regular progress updates.
- Create a fun, disciplined, and engaging learning environment.
Requirements
- Good knowledge of music theory and staff notation.
- Strong teaching and communication skills.
- Passion for working with children and adults.
- Previous teaching experience is preferred.
- Trinity, ABRSM, or Rockschool certification is an advantage.
