Job Description
The Nursing Tutor will play a critical role in shaping the next generation of nurses by providing high-quality education and mentorship. You will utilize your clinical expertise and pedagogical skills to prepare students for their careers in healthcare. This role involves both classroom instruction and hands-on training in clinical settings.
Nursing Tutor Responsibilities
- Deliver lectures and practical training sessions on various nursing subjects.
- Assess and evaluate student performance through tests, assignments, and practical skills.
- Mentor and provide individualized support to nursing students.
- Develop, update, and implement curricula and instructional resources.
- Coordinate with clinical staff to arrange and supervise students' clinical placements.
- Ensure that educational practices adhere to institutional and regulatory standards.
- Stay current with advancements in the nursing field to keep course content updated.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in B.SC Nursing.
- Active nursing license.
- Previous teaching or tutoring experience in a nursing or healthcare setting at least one year.
- Strong understanding of nursing practices and curriculum development.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to inspire and motivate students.
