Job Description
An Area Sales Executive drives revenue and market penetration for a specific geographic territory. They are responsible for acquiring new clients, managing relationships with existing dealers/retailers, and hitting assigned sales targets while monitoring local market trends and competitor activity.
Responsibilities
- Territory Management: Develop and implement sales strategies to grow market share within a designated geographic area.
- Client & Dealer Relations: Regularly visit existing dealers to build rapport, introduce new products, and ensure proper merchandising/planogram execution .
- Lead Generation: Identify and onboard new merchants, distributors, and sub-dealers to expand the distribution network.
- Sales & Negotiation: Guide prospects through the entire sales cycle, from product demonstrations to pricing negotiations and deal closure.
- Market Intelligence: Monitor competitor activities and track local market trends, reporting data back to the Area Sales Manager.
- Reporting & Compliance: Maintain accurate records in google sheets, prepare sales forecasts, and oversee account receivables.
