Job Description
Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced and energetic Restaurant Captain to lead the service team, ensure excellent customer service, and maintain smooth restaurant operations.
Key Responsibilities
* Supervise and guide service staff during shifts.
* Ensure guests receive excellent customer service.
* Handle customer complaints professionally.
* Take and coordinate food & beverage orders with the kitchen.
* Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in the dining area.
* Train and motivate new team members.
* Prepare staff duty rosters and assign responsibilities.
* Monitor table setup and service quality.
* Coordinate with Kitchen, Cashier, and Management.
* Ensure daily opening and closing checklists are completed.
Requirements
* 1–3 years of experience as a Captain or Senior Steward.
* Good communication skills (Tamil & Basic English).
* Leadership and team management skills.
* Ability to work in shifts, weekends, and holidays.
* Pleasant personality with a customer-focused attitude.
