Cashier

The Cashier is responsible for handling all cash and billing transactions accurately and efficiently, maintaining financial records, and ensuring a smooth payment process for customers while adhering to company policies and procedures.

• Key Responsibilities:Receive cash, cheque, card, UPI, and other digital payments from customers.
• Generate invoices and receipts accurately through the billing system.
• Verify the correctness of billing details before processing payments.
• Maintain daily cash balance and reconcile cash at the end of each shift/day.
• Deposit cash collections as per company procedures.
• Handle customer queries related to billing and payments professionally.
• Maintain records of sales transactions and payment receipts.
• Coordinate with the Accounts Department for reconciliation and reporting.
• Ensure proper maintenance of vouchers, receipts, and financial documents.
• Follow company policies related to cash handling and financial controls.
• Report any discrepancies or suspicious transactions immediately to management.
• Assist in preparing daily, weekly, and monthly cash reports.
• Support branch operations whenever required.
