Optometrist

Drishti Hospital is a growing multispecialty hospital in Gomoh, Jharkhand, looking for a dedicated Optometrist to join our eye care team. This position is ideal for fresh graduates and junior optometrists seeking strong clinical exposure, mentorship, and long-term career growth.

Salary

₹12,000–15,000 per month (Negotiable based on experience)

Clinical Exposure

Work with modern ophthalmic equipment, including:

• Autorefractometer

• Slit Lamp

• Applanation Tonometer

• Non-contact Tonometer (NCT)

• Operating Microscope

Responsibilities

• Perform refraction and comprehensive eye examinations

• Conduct basic ophthalmic investigations (Visual Acuity, Autorefraction, IOP, etc.)

• Assist the Ophthalmologist during OPD and surgeries

• Counsel patients regarding spectacles and treatment

• Participate in community eye camps

• Maintain patient records and support day-to-day departmental operations

Requirements

• Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Optometry

• Freshers and candidates with up to 2 years of experience are welcome

• Good communication and patient counselling skills

• Strong work ethic, professionalism, and willingness to learn

• Willing to relocate to Gomoh, Jharkhand
