Supply Chain Manager

🛠️ Key Responsibilities:

🌐 General Responsibilities (Across All Areas):

• Develop and implement end-to-end supply chain strategies.
• Ensure alignment with production, sales, procurement, and customer service.
• Monitor KPIs (inventory turnover, on-time delivery, order accuracy, etc.).
• Optimize cost, quality, and service levels across the supply chain.

🏢 Central Warehouse Management:

• Manage the centralized storage of raw materials, components, and finished goods.
• Oversee proper layout, space utilization, and storage conditions (FIFO/FEFO).
• Implement warehouse management systems (WMS) and digital tracking tools ( BAR CODING SYSTEM)
• Ensure accurate stock entries and stock reconciliation.
• Enforce safety, cleanliness, and compliance with warehouse standards.

📦 Inventory Management:

• Maintain optimal inventory levels (avoiding stockouts or overstocking).
• Conduct regular cycle counts, audits, and reconciliation.
• Use forecasting tools to align inventory with demand planning.
• Set and monitor reorder points and safety stock levels.
• Collaborate with procurement and production to balance inventory flow.

🚚 Logistics & Transportation:

• Coordinate inbound and outbound logistics.
• Select and manage 3PLs, freight carriers, and delivery schedules.
• Ensure cost-effective, timely, and damage-free transport.
• Handle logistics documentation (invoices, BOL, customs if applicable).
• Monitor transportation KPIs: on-time delivery, freight cost per unit, etc.

📦 Packing Operations:

• Ensure proper and safe packing of goods for storage and transport.
• Implement packaging standards (based on product type and customer requirements).
• Optimize material usage to reduce waste and cost.
• Oversee packing team performance and training.
• Ensure compliance with labelling and regulatory requirements.

🏁 Finished Goods Handling:

• Track production output and ensure seamless transfer to FG storage.
• Coordinate with QA/QC to release only approved goods.
• Manage FG inventory accuracy and traceability.
• Prepare finished goods for customer dispatch in accordance with sales orders.

🚛 Dispatch & Order Fulfilment:

• Schedule and prioritize shipments based on order urgency and customer SLAs.
• Coordinate with sales/customer service for order accuracy and delivery timelines.
• Oversee preparation of dispatch documents (packing lists, invoices, etc.).
• Ensure tracking and feedback mechanisms for customer deliveries.
• Monitor dispatch KPIs: OTIF (On-Time In-Full), customer satisfaction, etc.
