Job Summary

We are looking for a dedicated Production Engineer / Production Technician with a minimum of 3 years of experience in Electronics Manufacturing Services (EMS). The candidate will be responsible for ensuring smooth production operations, achieving daily production targets, improving productivity, and maintaining quality and safety standards in PCB assembly (PCBA), SMT, Through-Hole, and Box Build manufacturing.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, monitor, and execute daily production activities to achieve production targets.
• Supervise SMT, Through-Hole, PCB Assembly (PCBA), and Box Build production processes.
• Ensure adherence to production schedules, quality standards, and customer requirements.
• Monitor line efficiency, productivity, yield, and Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE).
• Coordinate with Quality, Stores, Maintenance, and Process Engineering teams for uninterrupted production.
• Identify production issues and implement corrective actions to minimize downtime.
• Ensure proper line balancing, manpower allocation, and resource utilization.
• Maintain production reports, shift reports, and machine utilization records.
• Implement Lean Manufacturing, 5S, Kaizen, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with ESD, safety, and company manufacturing procedures.
• Train and guide operators on work instructions and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
• Support new product introduction (NPI) and process validation activities

Required Skills

• Minimum 3 years of experience in Electronics Manufacturing Services (EMS).
• Hands-on experience in SMT, Wave Soldering, Manual Assembly, PCBA, and Box Build production.
• Good understanding of production planning and manufacturing processes.
• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, 5S, Kaizen, and basic TPM concepts.
• Ability to troubleshoot production-related issues and improve process efficiency.
• Familiarity with ESD handling and IPC standards is preferred.
• Experience with ERP/MES/SAP systems is an added advantage.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
