SST (Social Studies) Teacher – Job Description

Teach Social Studies subjects including History, Geography, Civics, and Economics to middle and secondary school students.

Prepare engaging lesson plans, worksheets, assessments, and learning materials.

Deliver interactive, activity-based, and student-centered classroom instruction.

Assess student performance, maintain academic records, and provide timely feedback.

Identify learning gaps and conduct remedial support for struggling students.

Foster critical thinking, curiosity, and awareness of social, historical, and geographical concepts.

Maintain an organized, disciplined, and positive classroom environment.

Prepare students for examinations and academic projects.

Communicate regularly with parents regarding student progress and development.
