Job Description
Job Description: Fitter & Welder
We are looking for a skilled and motivated Fitter and Welder to join our production/manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing, fitting, and welding metal components according to technical blueprints and layouts.
Key Responsibilities:
Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and welding symbols.
Cut, shape, and fit metal parts accurately before welding.
Perform high-quality welding (MIG, TIG, or Arc, depending on your workshop's specific type) on various metal structures.
Align components using calipers, rulers, and clamp tools.
Inspect welded joints for defects and ensure they meet safety and quality standards.
Maintain welding equipment and follow strict workshop safety guidelines.
Requirements:
Education: ITI certification in Welding or Fitting.
Experience: 6 months to 2 years of practical experience in fitting and welding.
Skills: Strong understanding of welding techniques, blueprint reading, and tool safety.
Salary & Benefits:
Salary: ₹15,000 to ₹18,000 per month (depending on experience and skill test).
Job Type: Full-time.
