Job Title: Store Executive
Department: Laundry Operations / Stores
Reports To: Laundry Manager / Operations Manager
Job SummaryThe Store Executive is responsible for managing the receipt, storage, issuance, and inventory control of laundry chemicals, linens, uniforms, consumables, packaging materials, and spare parts. The role ensures uninterrupted laundry operations by maintaining accurate inventory records, timely replenishment of stock, and compliance with company policies and safety standards.
- Key ResponsibilitiesReceive, inspect, and record all incoming materials, chemicals, linens, uniforms, and consumables.
- Maintain accurate inventory records using ERP or inventory management software.
- Issue materials to the laundry production team based on approved requisitions.
- Monitor stock levels and ensure timely replenishment to prevent operational disruptions.
- Conduct daily, weekly, and monthly physical stock verification and reconcile inventory discrepancies.
- Maintain proper storage conditions for laundry chemicals and consumables in accordance with safety guidelines.
- Track the movement of reusable linen, uniforms, and other laundry assets.
- Coordinate with the Procurement and Operations teams for purchase requests and deliveries.
- Maintain documentation including Goods Receipt Notes (GRNs), issue slips, stock registers, and inventory reports.
- Identify damaged, expired, or slow-moving inventory and report it to management.
- Ensure cleanliness, organization, and compliance with health and safety standards within the store.
- Support internal and external inventory audits.
- QualificationsBachelor's degree or Diploma in Commerce, Logistics, Supply Chain, or a related field.
- 1–3 years of experience in store or inventory management, preferably in the laundry, hospitality, healthcare, or manufacturing industry.
- Knowledge of inventory control practices and warehouse operations.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and ERP/inventory management systems.
- Basic understanding of laundry chemicals and consumables is an advantage.
