Part-Time AI Search & GEO Intern (Generative Engine Optimization)
Location: Remote / Work From Home (India)
Job Type: Part-Time / Internship (15 Hours per Week)
Stipend/Salary: ₹5,000 per month (Fixed)
About the Role
We are looking for a tech-savvy Part-Time GEO (Generative Engine Optimization) Intern to help us adapt our digital presence for the AI era. In this highly focused, 5-8 hour-per-week role, you will apply your foundational SEO knowledge to emerging AI search engines (like Perplexity, ChatGPT, and Google AI Overviews). This is an ideal micro-internship for a computer science student, junior developer, or SEO enthusiast who wants hands-on experience structuring data for Large Language Models (LLMs).
Key Responsibilities
- Audit and optimize existing web content to ensure it is AI-readable and structured for Generative Engine Optimization (GEO).
- Test and track brand visibility across major LLM platforms (ChatGPT, Perplexity, Claude) using targeted prompt testing.
- Implement technical schema (such as FAQPage, HowTo, and JSON-LD) to improve content extraction by AI bots.
- Assist in deploying AI-specific protocols such as setting up and maintaining llms.txt files for our domains.
- Analyze AI search behaviorand provide weekly reports on how chatbots are citing (or ignoring) our content.
Required Qualifications
* Foundational understanding of traditional SEO (Search Engine Optimization) and technical site structure.
* Strong technical background or current enrollment in a Computer Science, Data Analytics, or IT-related degree program.
* Familiarity with how Large Language Models (LLMs) work, retrieve information, and cite sources.
* Basic working knowledge of HTML, Markdown, and structured data (Schema.org).
* High attention to detail and a proactive interest in the rapidly changing AI search landscape.
