Kitchen Helper

Looking for House Keeping Kitchen helper who can cook food for chef's, cleans kitchen dusting and moping, washes dishes, helps in vegetable cutting and completes any task assigned by chef's.

1. This is hybrid job of Steward and Housekeeping
2. Cooks twice a day for Chef and other kitchen staff
3. Operate and maintain cleaning equipment and tools
4. Wash and disinfect kitchen and store room areas, tables, tools, knives, and equipment.
5. Receive deliveries, store perishables properly, and rotate stock.
6. Ensure clean wares are stored in appropriate areas.
7. Use detergent, rinsing, and sanitizing chemicals in the 3-compartment sink to clean dishes.
8. Inspect, pull, and stack cleaned items, send soiled items back for re-scrubbing and re-washing.
9. Rack and spray all racked items with hot water to loosen and remove food residue.
10. Sort, soak, and wash/re-wash silverware. Breakdown dirty bus tubs.
11. Empty and maintain trashcans and dumpster area.
12. Clean and mop all areas in assigned departments.
13. Break down cardboard boxes and place them and other recyclables in the recycle bin.
