Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
Program and set up CNC Turning Centres according to job requirements and engineering drawings.
Select proper tools, offsets, speeds, and feeds for efficient machining.
Modify and optimize existing CNC programs to improve accuracy and reduce cycle time.
Conduct first-piece inspection and ensure part quality meets specifications.
Perform machine setup, changeover, and troubleshooting when required.
Maintain machine condition, tooling inventory, and ensure adherence to safety standards.
Collaborate with production and quality departments to achieve daily production targets.
Read and interpret engineering drawings, GD&T, and machining symbols accurately.
Skills Required:
Strong knowledge of Fanuc controls.
Hands-on experience in CNC Turning programming and setting.
Good understanding of tool selection, cutting parameters, and material properties.
Ability to read technical drawings and use measuring instruments (Vernier, micrometer, bore gauge, etc.).
Problem-solving and machine troubleshooting skills.
Basic understanding of ISO procedures and quality documentation.
Qualification:
ITI / Diploma / BE in Mechanical
