CCTV Technician

Job SummaryWe are looking for a skilled and motivated CCTV Technician to install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot CCTV surveillance systems, IP cameras, DVR/NVR systems, and related networking infrastructure. The ideal candidate should have experience in security surveillance solutions and basic networking concepts.

• Key ResponsibilitiesInstall and configure CCTV Cameras (IP & Analog).
• Install and configure DVR, NVR, and Video Management Systems (VMS).
• Perform structured cabling, conduit work, and cable termination.
• Install and configure network switches, PoE switches, and wireless devices.
• Configure remote viewing through mobile applications and web browsers.
• Diagnose and resolve CCTV hardware, software, and network issues.
• Perform preventive maintenance and health checks for customer sites.
• Replace faulty cameras, power supplies, hard disks, and accessories.
• Test, commission, and hand over completed projects to customers.
• Coordinate with project managers and customers during installation.
• Prepare installation reports, service reports, and asset documentation.
• Provide customer training on CCTV system usage.
• Ensure work is completed according to company quality and safety standards.
• Travel to customer locations for installation and support as required.
• Required SkillsExperience with Hikvision, Dahua, CP Plus, Honeywell, Axis, Bosch, or similar CCTV brands.
• Good understanding of IP Networking, TCP/IP, VLANs, PoE, and basic routing.
• Knowledge of DVR/NVR configuration and remote access.
• Experience in Cat6 cable laying, RJ45 termination, fiber basics, and rack installation.
• Familiarity with Windows operating systems and mobile app configuration.
• Ability to troubleshoot hardware and network-related issues.
• Good communication and customer handling skills.
• QualificationDiploma / ITI / B.Tech / B.E. / Any Technical Qualification.
• Certification in CCTV or Networking is an added advantage.
• Experience1–5 years of experience in CCTV installation and maintenance.
• Preferred SkillsExperience with Access Control, Biometric Attendance Systems, Video Door Phones, and Intercom Systems.
• Basic knowledge of Fire Alarm Systems.
• Knowledge of Structured Cabling standards.
• Experience working with enterprise surveillance solutions.
• Other RequirementsValid two-wheeler driving license preferred.
• Willingness to travel across Hyderabad and nearby locations.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet project deadlines.
