Job Description

  • Product & Merchandising ManagementPlan and manage product assortments based on market trends and customer demand.
  • Coordinate with suppliers, manufacturers, and internal teams for product development and procurement.
  • Monitor product performance and recommend replenishment, markdowns, or new collections.
  • Ensure timely availability of products across all sales channels.
  • Vastra App ManagementUpdate all product-related information on the Vastra App on a daily basis.
  • Upload and maintain product details, descriptions, pricing, sizes, colors, images, and categories.
  • Track and update product status, including sampling, production, dispatch, receipt, and stock availability.
  • Ensure all new launches, restocks, and collection updates are reflected accurately in the app.
  • Maintain complete visibility of product movement and merchandising activities through the Vastra App.
  • Vendor & Production CoordinationCommunicate with vendors regarding product timelines, quality standards, and deliveries.
  • Follow up on sampling, production schedules, and order fulfillment.
  • Monitor purchase orders and delivery schedules to ensure timely execution.
  • Inventory & Sales MonitoringWork closely with the Inventory Manager to ensure stock accuracy.
  • Monitor sales trends and inventory levels to avoid stock-outs or overstock situations.
  • Analyze product performance and recommend buying decisions.
  • Reporting & AnalysisPrepare daily, weekly, and monthly merchandising reports.
  • Share updates on product launches, vendor performance, stock status, and sales performance.
  • Generate insights and recommendations based on customer demand and product movement.
  • Quality & ComplianceEnsure all product information is accurate and complete.
  • Maintain merchandising standards and brand guidelines.
  • Address product-related issues and coordinate corrective actions.
  • Required SkillsStrong understanding of fashion merchandising and retail operations.
  • Excellent organizational and coordination skills.
  • Experience with inventory and product management systems.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets.
  • Strong analytical and reporting abilities.
  • Attention to detail and data accuracy.
  • Effective communication and vendor management skills.
  • QualificationsBachelor's degree in Fashion Management, Merchandising, Business, Retail Management, or a related field.
  • 2–5 years of experience in fashion merchandising, retail, or apparel operations.
  • Experience working with product management or inventory platforms is preferred.
