Job SummaryThe School Cleaning Staff is responsible for maintaining cleanliness, hygiene, and sanitation across the school premises to ensure a safe, healthy, and pleasant environment for students, staff, and visitors.

• Key ResponsibilitiesClean and sanitize classrooms, offices, corridors, washrooms, staff rooms, and other school areas daily.
• Sweep, mop, dust, and disinfect floors, furniture, doors, windows, and fixtures.
• Ensure washrooms remain clean, stocked, and hygienic throughout the day.
• Empty dustbins and dispose of waste in designated areas.
• Clean school premises before the start of school hours and as required during the day.
• Assist in maintaining cleanliness during school functions, meetings, examinations, and special events.
• Report any maintenance issues, damages, or safety hazards to the school administration.
• Handle cleaning equipment and materials responsibly.
• Follow school hygiene, safety, and cleanliness standards at all times.
• Support other housekeeping duties as assigned by the school management.
• Qualifications & SkillsMinimum educational qualification: 8th Pass (preferred).
• Prior housekeeping or cleaning experience in schools, offices, hospitals, or similar institutions is desirable.
• Knowledge of basic cleaning practices and hygiene standards.
• Physically fit and capable of performing cleaning duties.
• Honest, punctual, disciplined, and hardworking.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Working ConditionsSchool-based work environment.
• Must maintain professional behavior and confidentiality while working on school premises.
• Expected to follow all school rules and safety guidelines.
